The Contemporary School of Fine Arts currently offers two methods of study through Private Lessons and Classes.
Lessons and classes are weekly. The school will operate Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 12:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Upon completion of your student registration form, please contact the office to establish your lesson time. Class schedules will be determined by the school administration. Placement will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis. A waiting list will be available once all schedules have been filled.
Children (ages six and above) as well as adults may register for both private lessons and classes. Dance and Creative movement classes are available for younger children.
Private Lessons

Percussion
Stringed Instruments (violin, viola, cello, bass)
Brass Instruments (trumpet, trombone, baritone, tuba)

Classes
Students will learn together in small groups with the class method. This is a great method for learning the fundamentals that apply to all areas of an applied study. Classes will allow students to learn together but still be small enough to support individual attention. As students progress, they should seek to study individually with an instructor who will tailor their experience to their learning style. *Minimum enrollment for all classes is 8 with the exception of Rhythm Section class.
Classes are available for the following:
Piano (ages 7-11) / Vocal / Dance (Contemporary, Ballet, Jazz and Tap) / Rhythm Section* / Percussion-fundamentals and ensemble / Recording Arts / Music Theory / Performance Theory / Biblical Worship / Worship Leadership / Music Notation using Finale®
*Minimum Enrollment for the Rhythm Section is 3 students. All other classes require a minimum enrollment of 8 students. The Contemporary School of Fine Arts will assess class enrollment and make a decision on holding the class if minimum enrollment is not met.
