Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen Fundraiser Event

The Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen is located in Manhattan, providing free meals to those community members in need. It is the single largest Soup Kitchen in New York, serving over 1,000 guests each day. Since the Coronavirus Pandemic, the Holy Apostles plays an even more important role in feeding the hungry.

Sally Studio and the Metropolitan Art Association have been long time sponsors of Holy Apostle. In 2018, Sally Studio’s students held an art exhibition to raise funds by donating and selling pairings. Over $3000 of proceeds from that event was donated to The Soup Kitchen.

Now, during these difficult times, the Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen and those it serves need our help more than ever. CiCi Fader, a high school senior from Jericho Long Island, has organized young artists from the Sally Studio Art Center, in collaboration with the Metropolitan Association of Fine Arts, to come together and make high quality printed art tote bags to sell and raise money for the soup kitchen.

To participate in this campaign, CiCi has arranged for each student to commit to selling these artful tote bags for $15 each, with each student hoping to sell a minimum of 10 bags. This means the student will attempt to raise a minimum of $150. Please consider purchasing one or more of these stylish bags for your own use and they make wonderful gifts for family, friends, and teachers.

All proceeds will be donated to the Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen. Help us make a difference one bag at a time!

Charity Art Show Fundraiser

In 2018 we worked together with the Sally Studio Art Center in order to put together an art show to raise money for the Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen. With everything from the planning to the hanging of paintings done by our own young artists, we managed to raise 3,000 dollars, all of which was donated to the Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen.
